Slow and laggy?

I don't know why, but this game is butter smooth on Firefox browsers (e.g. Zen) but molasses on Chrome browsers (e.g. Brave). You can always download it for a better shot, security bypass instructions below.

Instructions

• Hit 'enter', 'space', or click the start button to begin
• Type the words to the left and right of the skiier to move
• Avoid obstacles
• Get the highest score possible!
• Discs offer optional extra points.

Looking for early feedback. Start screen will get some love and care next. The game is a little laggy on web browser unfortunately. To play on Mac, the game will exit due to security reasons. After you launch, go into "Privacy and Security" in your Settings tab, scroll down, and click "Allow Anyway".
